Anyone watching the shows on t.v. where they dress people up to look great knows what I’m talking about. There are sometimes larger women on these shows, ones who would throw on baggy tee shirts and usually sweat pants and who thought they looked ‘okay’ in the eyes of others. When they got in front of that huge ‘tell-it’all’ mirror, they then couldn’t believe how badly they appeared. Yes, they were good candidates for a makeover.

So, that being the case, perhaps one could look to the thrift stores and consignment shops, rather than shopping at the higher-end department stores, for their plus size jeans for women. That is what many of us are now doing and have found terrific jeans for around 10 dollars.
Of course, one has to be careful and look over the future purchase very carefully for stains and spots on them, signs of fraying and wear in the cuffs and along the waistband; but, all in all, the jeans found at these places where used clothing is sold are in pretty decent shape. Sometimes a gal would even prefer a pair of plus size jeans for women that is already worn-looking anyway.
Be prepared to try on these jeans you want. Most thrift stores and consignment shops have a fitting-room area to use, so it would definitely be to your advantage to try them on before buying (because most purchases are not allowed to be returned for refund) and to take a friend along to give you a ‘thumbs up’ review.
But what if gal can’t get out and about looking for jeans? This is a time-consuming ‘project’ after all. If you know the definite brand(s) that looks good on you, you may want to do your shopping online. There are many places that sell these types of used higher-end jeans for the ‘queen size’ woman. And many of these have a fairly fast way of contacting the seller to find out what condition these are in or answer other questions you may have before you go ahead and order them. One, of course, is a well-known ‘auction’ area that has these plus size jeans for women. On it, if you prefer, you can actually put a bid in for what you personally want to pay (or you can buy it right then and there). I would advise, though, that you make a good offer for the auction on it, if that’s how you want to buy them– and know that you can be out-bid.
